Ordered a salmon don and it was generous with toppings, good ratio of toppings to rice. Humble family-run restaurant. Would definitely come by again if in the area. It's also worth noting that they don't take card, so have cash on hand.

Cosy, home-style sushi bar run by a Japanese family. The food is fantastic, the owners are friendly and always keep it real. Cash only and make sure to leave a tip.

If you just want quality sushi, with excellent value for money - This is it. The owners were very friendly also! BYO as well , corkage is $5 per bottle wine

Small and cozy shop with conforming and homely Japanese food Food was amazing for its price and super delicious. Owner is very funny and you can tell he knows what he’s doing I’ve had sushi 2 - 3times the price and not even as quality as this Start off with miso soup Have some sushi and tea Can’t really ask for more Definitely will be back And thank you for yummy meal

Lovely authentic restaurant with a friendly service. Loved the ambiance. The food was amazing. Reasonable price and the portion size is generous. The salmon was fresh. They accept cash only. So remember to take. Definitely worth the visit. And we will keep coming back!

Contrary to the other reviews about hospitality, we had a totally different experience. First I thought it was a sweet and quaint place run by a Japanese couple. Pretty authentic. The food was amazing. The una don was amazing and I’d highly recommend it. Sushi delux was lovely. Fresh and good balance of rice and fish. The place itself is small and we came with two kids with high chairs. The guy got annoyed with my kids that was playing with two spoons and was constantly picking on something. Can come off a bit rude. If you keep that aside, I’d recommend the place. Overall 8/10 for the food, 5/10 for hospitality. If you are bringing kids, avoid bringing in the pram and there’s not kids change room.

This place is a gem. Had Gyoza, Unagi don, Katsu Curry and mochi for dessert. Everything was so on point, and good price for the quality u get. Defintly be back. 2 owners manage 6 stoves and a fryer while serving amazing food for 28 years. So be patient. "Most authentic japanese food I've had in Melbourne" - Osaka local Cash only
